Upgrade 3.13 to 3.14
April 14, 2010, 07:18:34 am
hi I´m just trying to upgrade CiviCRM from 3.13 to 3.14 on my drupal installation.
When I enter the usual http://<your_drupal_home>/civicrm/upgrade?reset=1  my fireforx crashes......any ideas? >:(

In the meantime I just started CiviCRM the jusual way, and in the footer it says that it´s version 3.14.

Since I never saw the Green Update box.... is it still safe to run? ???  Currently it´s looking normal.

Cheers

Just tried with chrome.  Same thing. Sand-clock keeps running and there is no way back except killing the app.

I do believe that it crashed because of some java stuff.

I mean 3.14 seams to be installed and runs fine so far... except getting the browser crach if I enter "/civicrm/upgrade?reset=1"

Cheers

if you mean javascript instead of java in your previous post, i'd recommend you switch your theme to garland first and then try the upgrade - it's possible your theme is doing something bad with that url (either that, or a custom module?).

Can you confirm that all the 3.1.4 files were uploaded correctly? Perhaps try that step again, just to be sure. You can see the 3.1.4 notice without having upgraded the DB AFAIK. Since this is a small upgrade, it may well run even though the DB is not yet upgraded.
