CiviEvents not sending email to unregistered user registrants
April 14, 2010, 11:43:05 am
When an unregistered (anonymous) user registers for a summer music festival at our site, everything works fine, but no confirmation email is sent to anyone, including the registrant.  What configuration issue is causing this?  I have all of the recommended permissions set up, and both SMPT and Sendmail are working as they are supposed to.  Anyone out there with any ideas?  I'm desperate!  I'm running version 3.1.4.

you might want to update your forum profile to indicate what version of CiviCRM you are running

If you are still running 2.1, you might want to consider upgrading

Sorry about that.  I'm using 3.1.4 (or whatever the latest version is).  I had looked last year at version 2, but I didn't care for the user interface and the general clunkiness of it.  I am much happier with version 3, and I believe I will be very happy with it once I have got it configured correctly.
