I screwed up the search results default view - need help

I have somehow managed to modify the "default" view for the results listing from a basic search ("Find Contacts").  The only columns shown are the contact type icon and contact name.  There are no column headers listed.

I can force a basic search and get a results listing with all of the normal default columns (e.g., address, email, phone) by running "Basic Search" under Custom Searches.  But I get the result described above if I run a search from "Find Contacts".

I had been playing around with profiles, but have not modified any template code or created custom templates. 

Any help is appreciated.  I promise to never again drink while trying to administer CiviCRM.

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/setting/search?reset=1

you can set the default search profile there, which i suspect u've done :)
