Donors report summary to be displayed on public pages
April 15, 2010, 02:36:01 pm
Hi,
I have a civic crm installation on joomla i wish to display the "Donors report summary page" without the report criteria and report settings tab in the public pages as i wish everyone who comes to the site to view the total contributions we have recieved.
A step by step procedure would be greatly helpful since new to civic.

Basically if a vistor  clicks on the button on homepage it should display the "Donors report summary page"  in column or chart mode
without the rest of the tabs.

All help in this regard is greatly appreciated

how about just giving anonymous users access to the report instance.

i.e. in a url similar to: http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/report/instance/1?reset=1

click on report settings and give permission to Any One (first option)

Is it possible to generate the report and give a link to that page but the generated report is in the admin area. Will it be possible to show on the home page without user logging in or atleast after user logs in on the frontend.

no. due to missing permissions, this will be hard and will expose all reports to the frontend if we enable it
