Hi,

Our organisation is a non-profit fellowship for medical professionals and an important part of our member profiling is a "Graduation Year" date field. We've recently upgraded to the newest version of civi and all the Graduation Years for our members were instead replaced with the current date. We couldn't seem to set it to a 'yyyy' field again as that's no longer an option. When we tried to at least change the year back to their initial graduating year, it seemed to work but then reverted back to the current date. At the moment the year seems to be holding correctly, but it's a big deal for us in the long run to be able to have just the yearly date in this field.

Does anyone know a way around this, or if it will be fixed in the next release? Thanks!
