Hi,
I've to find all my contacts who are not affected to a group : they are "alone people"
I've been trying for some hours but could'nt find how to build this search.

Any idea ?

having better searched the forum, I found the solution : "Search by date added to CiviCRM" , wich I renamed "search by date and groups" (in french, actually :))

I'm having the same problem and I don't quite understand your solution. I don't understand how simply renaming a report to "search by date and groups" would magically make it able to find all of the contacts that don't belong to a group.

Thanks.

I looked at some documentation that I found here http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC32/Search+by+Date+Added+to+CiviCRM and it suggests that I should add some PHP code to make this kind of a search possible.

However I'm not 100% certain that this solution is intended for the CiviCRM 3.x that I'm running. The php code snippet began with a CiviCRM 2.1 declaration.
