Strange Access Denied Situations
April 19, 2010, 10:52:39 am
Drupal 6.16  CiviCRM 3.1.3

I run at the same access levels as my users, no problems with this situation.

User 1 gets an access denied message when clicking on edit contact, but can right click and select edit and works.

Discovered if the user logs in using www.mysite.com/drupal/user they have the issue.  If they log in without the www. then works fine.  I've been able to duplicate the issue when I log in with my username.

User 2 can send civimails fine, but can't reuse the mail item even though they sent it - get's access denied.  I finally checked every single authorization box for role and they still get the access denied error.  Works fine for me when I run at the same authority level.

The removing the www. did not seem to resolve the issue for reuse mailing, but am in the process of retesting.

Sounds like they are changing back and forth from site.com to www.site.com. These are considered unique domain names and so if one is logged into one and not the other, and he clicks on a link going to the other one, he will get an access denied error.

Is this the issue?
