Payment for event using remote buy button
April 19, 2010, 01:09:05 pm
Real quick one, hope someone can help?

I am looking at CiviCRM as an alternative to Jevents or EventList for Joomla, and wondered...

Currently use SagePay so can create a nice little replacement button as a "pay now" and take out all of the payment details that are normally displayed, meaning I don't need to write a module.

However... I am trying to locate where this page is located so I can edit it, or is there a way of side stepping the payment section and just putting in a redirect to the shop that it live so the payment can be made through there?

Any advice would be appreciated.

you will need to write a payment processor for sagepay (like davej was looking for in the otehr post). that allows the payment to be recorded in civicrm.

you should also check:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Customizing+CiviCRM+Screens

if you want to hardcode the payment processor and modify the template files directly

Thanks for that lobo.

However I'm wondering, would I be able to just create a page that is shown after the click to register in place of the payment details, basically what I thought might be easier is a button that goes straight to the shop.

As its quite urgent I really don't have the time to read up and write a payment gateway, but a replacement page might work.

Is that possible?

Thanks,
