Show list of events from only one event type

Hi,

I have been trying different things but I just don't find my way to displaying a nice list of only one type of events. Say: I want to display only Conferences on the conference information page - and only Exhibitions on the exhibition information page.

I tried using http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension-specific/civicrm/10167, which is a module for Joomla but it does not do the job as it only displays the custom CiviCRM event types which I don't have anymore as I need other types.

I currently have all Conferences marked as public and am displaying them via the Ical HTML link (the globe) on an extra page. But even that is not very satisfying as now I don't seem to find a way to include this page (as a module) on the conference information page.

Oh dear, anyone understand what I am trying to do and say? Any hints into the right direction? They would be greatly appreciated.

OK, I found that the globe is also displayed on the manage events page where you can show events of certain types only. So there is the solution to that. Nice.

Now I just need to find out how I can integrate this list into my conference or exhibition information page.
Any input there?
