#1050 - Table 'civicrm_dedupe_rule_group' already exists

When I upload the ' civicrm_upgradedb_v1.7_v1.8_41.mysql ' script over my 1.7 db i get the following error in phpMyadmin:

#1050 - Table 'civicrm_dedupe_rule_group' already exists

huh?

It sounds like you may be running that upgrade script a second time OR you're running it against a 1.8 database already. The table referenced in the error - civicrm_dedupe_rule_group - was added in 1.8 and doesn't exist in version 1.7 databases.
