Demographics date search range only from 1990 to 2030
April 23, 2010, 07:20:58 am
CiviCRM 3.1.2

civicrm/contact/search/advanced
Demographics -> Birth dates

The range in the widget is 1990 to 2030.  We have many contacts born before 1990 (:
How to fix this?

I upgraded to 3.1.4 and the lower limit is still 1990.

These can be configured:
administer >> Configuration >> Global Settings >> DAte fOrmats
On that page you will find a link "Advanced settings"
This will open a new pgae.
Set the "start-offset" and "end-offset" values as desired.

Thanks!

I might even have visited that page and kinda overlooked that.
Could be useful to actually show the resulting date ranges on that page.

I've changed the 'birth' Start offset from 100 to 200 and nothing changed in the Birth options in Advanced Search - it is still starting at 1990.

What does 100 even mean? How do I get it to start at say 1900?

EDIT - it was the searchDate I should have changed, not birth.
