Drupal installation - "files" directory location
April 24, 2010, 12:53:52 pm
I have moved my drupal "files" directory from the standard location, and now Civicrm will not install.  Civicrm/install/index.php assumes the "files" directory is in the standard location (line 303).  As a result, in my drupal configuration, it will not continue with the install.

For now, I've moved my "files" directory back to the standard location in order to proceed, but I would still like to relocate this directory.  Is there any way to do this?

Thanks...Eric

You could just make another files directory in the standard location, i.e. sites/default/files and use that just for CiviCRM files. If that is feasible for you.
