Custom Mail Sending

Hello!

I am very interested in using CiviCRM. My Main concern is if the Mail section can focus as I need it to. Here is what I'm looking for it to do:

I have a large selection of clients who are on a nutritional program. I would like to send them out certain content on a specific day, but have it be automated. I see that through CiviCRM you can schedule mail to go out to clients on a specific day. However, what I would like to do is have a set "content" that once I add a member, they will automatically receive said content on a scheduled basis without having to manually configure the content to be scheduled per client every time. This information is very user specific and can not be sent out to groups or repetedly. Are there any suggestions to make this possible?

This seems similar to "drip campaigns".CiviCRM does not have support for this currently, but would make a great addition. If you could help develop this and/or sponsor a developer to build this functionality that would be great

I think that this would be a great addition and I wouldn't mind help developing/sponsoring it. How could we get this going?

1. write a detailed spec on what you'd like to do. Might be good to post on forums and get feedback from the community

2. hire someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/ and get them to develop it for CiivCRM :)
