How to find all contacs that don't belong to a group

Hi guys,

I've got the following problem. For a non-profit organization we've got a newslettre. Most of it will be send by email, part of it by snailmail and part of it by bike (typical dutch). We've got some 1100 contacts.

So I made three groups: newslettre_emil, newslettre_snailmail and newslettre_bike. So far so good. Then my problems began. Our data seems to be incomplete. For a number of contacts none of these groups is added.

Now I want to clean the database and I want to list all the contacts that doesn't belong to either of those three groups.

I tried some build queries, but I can't find the operator for "is not in group".

I need some help.

I think there is a Custom Search that helps you do 'in this group not in that group' so you can make a Group = All, then specify to exclude the contacts in your 3 other Groups.

Shame on me! I forgot to select the whole population first.  YES it works, thank you for helping me out.
