Do not upgrade to Joomla 1.5.16
April 26, 2010, 03:38:36 am
Just a heads up. The just released Joomla 1.5.16 release has a couple of bugs and they recommend waiting a day until 1.5.17 is released.

Second, I DID install it (the two bugs did not affect me), BUT after installing, I was locked out of the site completely for administration. I upgraded 5 sites without problems, and only one site had a problem.

The site is the only one with CiviCRM installed, which is why I am posting this caution in this forum, of course.

Thanks for the warning. But why am I not surprised?

I've upgraded to 1.5.17 without problems on my test system. I was one of the "lucky few" who had sessions turned off (the only one of all my sites that was like that). Not sure why it was that way, but that explains why 1.5.16 didn't work for me.
