For your information, we do not have any IT specialist in our organisation and
not able to pay somebody to help us, therefore, the main question is, can we use your software
easily?

PS: I would really much prefer if somebody could answer me via email: taniapalomino@inpavi.org instead of having to use this forum.
PS: Is it possible to communicate with somebody on the phone? And, can we have somebody who speaks Spanish?

Many thanks

Hershel

I will email these directly, as requested, but for the record, here are some answers:

Yes, CiviCRM is free of charge. There is a translation into Spanish and it should be pretty good, but I don't know for sure. Information is online here:

http://en.flossmanuals.net/civicrm

about CiviCRM as well as here:

http://civicrm.org/aboutcivicrm

It is installed on a server and thus accessible to everyone at all times via their web browser. No one has access to your data. Technical support is free via the forums or via IRC, but to a limit. If you require in-depth support, you would need to hire a professional.

The install is probably best done by hiring someone, as it is a bit technical.

I am not aware of phone support and regarding Spanish support, I'm sure there are other users who speak Spanish, but I'm not one, sorry. :)

I also did reply to Tania. To add to Hershel's list:

Organizations like Tania's also have to realise that after install, quite some efforts is still required to configure CiviCRM to your needs. Also think about custom searches and reports.

But even before that you also need someone to review your needs, how the dataconversion will take, how you will secure the process.

So it goes a bit further then hiring someone to *only install it* for you.
