Using CiviGroup
May 03, 2010, 02:29:20 pm
I am trying to use CiviGroup, but when I go to Add Association Rule, the Drupal Anonymous role and Drupal Authenticated role does not appear in the Drupal Role drop down list.

If I add a new drupal role, it will appear in the list, but the original anon and auth roles do not. Is this expected behavior, or some kind of bug, or am I (again) not understanding how this module should work.

Thanks

Jason W

Hello jsherk,

I'm not certain what version of CiviCRM you are using. I think the easiest way to solve your issue would be to create 2 new Drupal roles (Perhaps Anon and Auth), and assign them the same permissions that the original Drupal Authenticated and Anonymous roles have. It shouldn't take too long to complete, and if it doesn't work, you can simply delete the roles.

If you let me know what versions you are using, I'll be happy to look into it further for you. Hopefully this will clear things up for you.
