HELP WITH PROFILES
May 07, 2010, 04:48:19 am
Hello to everyone out there. I am new to civicrm and joomla. I will like to know if I can create a profile, and put another profile previously created within it, and if this is possible, how it can be done. Please I need help as soon as possible, because I am on schedule and I will soon be submitting this report. Thank you very much

hello awojidesylvester,

While this Response is certainly past your deadline, I took a look at my installation of CiviCRM and also ran a few ideas on the demo site, and it appears to me that the only way this is possible is to Copy the previous profile and rename it. then add the other fields that you need.

For the purpose of your report, you will not gain any of the data that was generated via your first profile, however, you will now have a profile that contains all of the fields you are looking for.

Cheers,
Jason
