Exporting Events?

Hi,

It looks like I've corrupted my database on an earlier upgrade and I can no longer update it past 3.0.2....  After trying various solutions, including the DBTools from DharmaTech, I'm going to have to do a fresh install and import the data from a csv file exported from the old database.  The associated data loss isn't too much of a problem at the moment except for one area - events.

I know this is unlikely, but is there any way I can preserve the event listing and the people who have attended events?  At the moment the events are all events in the past - we're mainly using CiviEvent to keep track of who did what events in the past (I'm expanding this to online bookings for upcoming events in the near future).

to a large extent it depends on what is corrupted and what you can retrieve from various tables in mysql

if you are not familiar with php/mysql, your best bet will be to hire someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/
