Messages not "cancelling"
May 11, 2010, 08:02:14 am
After a message is cancelled in CiviMail on our installation, it cannot be cancelled, only deleted. Attempts to "cancel" don't make any changes--the mailing remains scheduled.

I tried to reproduce the issue in the demo but it works fine there. Any ideas what might be causing this on our installation? Thanks!!

We have had two issues in the past about this, but if it works on demo, then it might mean it’s fixed in CiviCRM 3.1; can you try upgrading a copy of your site and checking whether you still have the problem?

Hm, it’s a bit hard to guess if you can’t reproduce it on demo. :(

I just created myself a fresh 3.1.3 install and was able to cancel a mailing just fine, so you’ll need to debug the problem on your own, I’m afraid. You can start by checking the contents of the civicrm_mailing and civicrm_mailing_job tables and see whether the job gets actually cancelled there.
