CiviEvent sending multiple confirmations when more than 1 registrant
May 12, 2010, 06:41:24 am
I am using Joomla 1.5.15 and CiviCRM 3.1.2.  When a user registers more than one person it is sending a confirmation for all registrants and an additional individual one for each additional registrant beyond the first one.  I have made no real changes as to how confirmations are sent.  Any ideas as to why this would be happening...users are thinking they are getting charged twice (they aren't but they think they are).  Thanks for help!

your best bet would be to upgrade to 3.1.4 and see if that issue is still present

might want to consider hiring someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/ to help you look into and fix this issue

if you do find a bug please report back and file an issue and associated patch

I have always had this behaviour in all versions and thought/think it was the way it is supposed to work?!  This only happens if the additional registrants have email addresses.

Ah, it may be a simple thing in the form template somewhere.  I will look into it and post any results here.  Thanks :)
