I get the error message "You do not have permission to execute this url" when I click on Event Registration from the CiviCRM backend.

I installed JoomCivi on MAMP for testing/learning purposes. I am somewhat new to Joomla. These are the steps preceding the error:

1. Login to Joomla backend
2. Click on Components
3. Click on CiviCRM - the CiviCRM Home is displayed
4. Change the "select new" dropdown menu to Event Registration
5. "You do not have permission to execute this url." is displayed
