Locations for CiviEvent API
May 20, 2010, 09:30:18 am
Hi,

Just recording here so it is noted that this functionality doesn't currently exist, but it would be great if...

the CiviEvent API also gave the ability to work with event locations /

the Location API also gave the ability to work with events

... and that the latter is probably easier.

Two years later, has anything been done to rectify this?

At the moment, I can't understand how anyone works efficiently with CiviEvents via the host CMS.

Well, there is a new version of the API (api v3), location has been replaced by closer to the real civi thing.

Not sure how events and addresses are linked, so not sure if the entity is yet exposed or not, but should be trivial to add (check ou api/v3/Phone.php for an example)
