Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occured
May 20, 2010, 09:03:33 pm
I downloaded Drupal the other day (I am a brand new drupal user and have little experience with these types of applications). Then I installed CiviCRM. All was fine. Then I installed CiviCase and now I'm getting an error. I did the backtrace thing and here's what I got (I apologize if I posted in the wrong place and/or if I am not providing the correct info).

Background info: I installed drupal by mistake in the wrong place, then uninstalled and reinstalled. While I followed all of the steps...I may have done something wrong. I don't know how to tell which database civiccase and civicrm are accessing to ensure it's the right one.

Using GoDaddy hosting
php = 5
mysql = 5

I have no clue what I'm looking at above so I don't know how to trouble shoot....help is greatly appreciated.

  • CiviCRM version: Always the latest!
  • CMS version: Drupal 6 mostly, still evaluating 7.

I think to troubleshoot this further the civi version would be useful.
Also some details about what you entered on the open case form at the time this happened (I'm assuming that's where you were).

I am using 6x and when the error occurred I had clicked on new case and entered in the name of a contact (that was already in civicrm) and when I clicked on save is when the error popped up....I think that's what you were asking for? :)

6x is probably your drupal version not civicrm. What number does it have at the bottom of the page where it says "powered by"?

But in any case (no pun intended) there may be some mismatch between your xml configuration files http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/CiviCase+Configuration#CiviCaseConfiguration-CaseRoles%28relationshiptypes%29 and the relationship types you have configured at /civicrm/admin/reltype&reset=1

You were right...THANK YOU! Unfortunately I had to delete the relationship types to get it to work....I'll add them again later if possible....I'm sure there is a LOT I don't know yet about CivicRM :) Thanks again!
