Manually overwriting Lat Long if google map coordinates are incorrect
May 24, 2010, 08:49:38 pm
So if we are using google map and we find the coordinates put the location at the wrong place, and we use another option to find the correct Lat Long and enter them manually, they automatically get overwritten at 'save' and reset to the one provided by the Mapping provider - which makes sense - but obviously isn't helping us. Has anyone already tackled this? If we need to do it will we need to hack in a checkbox by the Lat Long to say 'mapping overridden' so that it applies the manually inserted Lat Long?

Peter, I've found temporary solution you can overwrite coordinates by editing related address entry in civicrm_address table. Hope it will help you
