Version tracking- not?
May 25, 2010, 04:41:44 pm
I have version tracking checked ON in the Miscellaneous part of global settings. Since I installed version 3.1.3, there have been 2 more versions released. Is there something wrong?

What do you suspect is wrong? There have indeed been two versions released since then, namely 3.1.4 and 3.1.5.

We only inform when a new minor version is released (i.e., you’ll get noticed upon the release of CiviCRM 3.2), not when a new patch version is released.

You can try changing the 2 in CRM_Utils_VersionCheck::newerVersion() (file CRM/Utils/VersionCheck.php) to 3 and see whether it helps.
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.

Thanks! I did not receive notifications of the "patch updates." Is PHP 5.3 going to be supported in version 3.2?
