CiviCRM Community Forums (archive)

It looks like CiviCRM was accidentally uninstalled on the live site.  In the Joomla control panel it is not listed in the Components area but the folders are all in place when I look at them via ftp. 

Although the database is still intact (as well as backed up), can we simply reinstall from the same folder (...tmp/civicrm/com_civicrm)?  Will this remove the current database contents?  I am already having many issues with the upgrade on a test server.
