Integration with a CMS other than Drupal/Joomla??
May 27, 2010, 05:56:50 pm
Hi, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum....

I was just looking at the CiviCRM and I believe it can integrate with both Drupal and Joomla CMSs. That would be great but... my organisation is using Squiz Mysource Matrix. What I would like to know is whether this CMS would also work with CiviCRM?

Thanks :)

no

u'll have to use one of the two CMS's as a simple frontend to CiviCRM. note that you need not change your website to civicrm. the drupal/joomla based website can be behind a firewall/auth. u'll need to use the API to integrate between your CMS and CiviCRM

thanks Lobo.

Sorry I'm not a developer so I'm not very familiar with technical details...  do you mean that I can still use CiviCRM with Mysource matrix to pull info from one system into the other?

potentially yes. you will need a developer to do so via the civicrm api
