Is it possible to cancel a mailing in progress?
May 28, 2010, 08:08:46 am
One of my clients (who has real issues with spelling) called me after he had initiated a mailing to ask if there was a way he could cancel it while it was in progress. About 13,000 recipients.

(I've never tried to do such a thing and told him it was probably a bad idea.)

He hit "cancel," but the mailing proceeded anyway - when he tried to re-send it, the system (rightfully) reported 0 recipients who hadn't received the previous email.

So, out of curiosity, outside of turning off the server, is there a way to interrupt a mailing in progress? Would like to know in case this happens again. Thanks much!
