Conditional stylesheets not working with Civicrm
May 28, 2010, 09:29:07 am
My drupal site uses a theme that uses conditional stylesheets to make IE display correctly
http://drupal.org/project/conditional_styles

The civicrm pages are not honoring the conditional styles.

The Optimize CSS is enabled

I'm running Civicrm 3.1 in Drupal 6.16

Thanks!
Diana

What exactly do you mean by "The civicrm pages are not honoring the conditional styles."?

Perhaps try turning off Optimize CSS and see if that helps.

There are blatant styling problems with the template in IE, so conditional stylesheets are used.  The optimized css is needed since IE can't handle a large number of styles.  IE is worse with optimization off.  Drupal picks up the conditional IE stylesheets no problem, except when in the civicrm pages.  The stylesheets are not even getting included.  I'm not sure what civicrm is doing differently from every other module in drupal.

i was sort of hoping the civicrm team could help me.  we outsourced the template so i'm not an expert in conditional stylesheets.  i'm also not sure if civicrm is doing something different with stylesheets.  can you suggest how to add the conditional styles to civicrm stylesheet management?

sorry, we have not used that module and are of limited / no help in this case

your best bet will be to see how/what civicrm does with regard to css files compared to other modules.

most of the css files are added here:

drupal/civicrm.module, search for drupal_add_css
