Reserved profiles
May 29, 2010, 03:53:27 pm
I just did a export/ import using the CiviCRM scripts to move my custom tables and fields between sites. Unfortunatly it also created redundant profiles ( such as "Name and Address, New Individual, and the default profiles that come with CiviCRM )

I am trying to delete the new redundant profiles, but I do not see the "disable" or "delete" options for those profiles, I believe because they are "reserved" in the original installation.

How can I make them "unreserved" so that I can clean up the extras? Where is the MySQL table that stores the settings for profiles?
Did I help you? Please donate to the Civi-Make-It-Happen campaign  CiviCRM for mobile devices!

Current versions of the export script basically skip creating an object if the name/label matches. i.e. u can import the same file multiple times without issues.

there was a bug with profiles and this code (since the name field was not populated uniformly in earlier version)

i've fixed this in the 3.2 branch of the migrate scripts
