I created a couple of custom searches on both a test server (MAMP/Joomla 1.5.18) and the live site (Siteground/Joomla 1.5.18).  These searches perform identically on both servers except that the default selections in the Search Criteria are ignored on the live site.  Defaults are ignored for both dropdown lists as well as text-box input (these work fine on my local server environment).  I am using the setDefaultValues( ) function to specify defaults.

It isn't clear to me how the server should affect how the html code is created or processed for the Search form.
