I'm curious if anyone has been able to use a Report template or Advanced Search to create either of the following, or could advise on how to do so:

• A report on all activities from all employees of an employer, and the employer itself (preferably filterable by activity type, or at a minimum, just event attendee reports for all employees of an organization)
• A report on all of the member discounts utilized by a member org and their employees (and the total saved)
• A list of unrenewed member organizations and their CEO's

These are some of the biggest challenges around using CiviCRM for our association, and I'm curious if others have similar needs, or have found solutions to them that I've missed.

Bumping this thread because I am also interested in this topic. We are a small trade association (3-person staff) and we've been converting our current website to Joomla with CiviCRM to serve as our membership database (we currently do not have one). So far I'm in the testing mode to discover all of the functionalities, and it looks like there are some limitations when it comes to integrating the Organization and Individual fields, especially in reports. For example, I tried to build an event registration report that would return a person's name, job title, company name, and date registered; but was unable to do so. I'm a novice SQL user at best, but I would be very interested in discussing the needs of trade associations.
