File Manager Module?
June 01, 2010, 05:45:57 pm
Hi all,

I've looked high and low for an answer to this, but does CiviCRM have a module for managing files?

The only place I've found in my testing where an upload utility was present was on the personal campaign page.

If there's no module at this time, is this a utility that's being considered for the next version?

Many thanks for your help.
Vanessa

You can create custom fields in CiviCRM that are file fields. Then you can upload files anywhere you associate those fields. You can read about custom data fields here: http://en.flossmanuals.net/CiviCRM/CiviConfigExtendingCoreData

Hi emilyf,

Thanks for responding so quickly.

Hmmm. Bummer. So there's nothing that will extend the WYSIWYG editors? Do you know if there's anything in the works for this functionality?

Thanks for your time.
Vanessa
