Lee County, Florida Bar Association switches to CiviCRM
June 03, 2010, 05:52:21 am
South Florida Web Studio recently launched a new website for the Lee County Bar Association.
Read more about Lee County Bar and CiviCRM in the SoFla Web Design Portfolio:
http://www.soflaweb.com/portfolio/lee-county-bar-association

What started out as a simple front-end website project emerged as full process re-design for their association.
Upon our initial Discovery sessions we found that Drupal was the best option for their CMS (which we pretty much knew before getting started). But what was the real surprise was how they were managing their membership. All of the member information was being handled with an old Access Database.
We saw the opportunity and delivered a CiviCRM installation that saves the association both time and money right within the first month of being deployed.

We are working on a more detailed case study and will have that posted eventually.
In the meantime, any feedback is appreciated.

Very professional design, IMO.

Event info page with map looks good.

There is a strange artifact however, in FF 3. See attached image.

Thanks for the kind words.
The issue you are seeing seems to be of the main navigation wrapping. This is caused when we zoom in the font in the browser.
Do you mind if I ask what OS you are running? Is this on a Mac? Or do you possibly have your fonts enlarged?
We will look into it.
Thanks

Linux. No large fonts. I see the same problem in my Chromium browser also...

hershel,

Thanks for the find. We have corrected the problem and it should be displaying properly now.
