Does CiviEvent come with an Event Calendar for display?  I have not been able to find it in the docs.  I see references to downloading cal files.  But I am looking for a calendar display that shows events that have been planned.  Is this available?

u'll need to use a drupal calendar module and integrate the iCal feed with it. check:

I am not able to convert the instruction for Drupal 5 to Drupal 6.

However, in Home » Administer » Site building » Views I see: 
Default CiviCRM Events view: civicrm_events  (CiviEvent).  This is in CiviCRM 3.1.5.
Is this supposed to provide the Event Calendar? 

I am not able to see my events, but checking if this is meant to be an Event calendar for CiviEvents without iCal?

if it is, then any documentation on how to configure will help.

Thanks Dave, that worked.

For folks interested in creating a Block of "upcoming events", go to Blocks in admin ... /admin/build/block,
Find CiviCRM Upcoming Events and choose the region for display.
