Class Registration
June 09, 2010, 09:29:36 am
Hi, i run a diving club and i need a solution to handle my class enrolments.

i have several squads that attend several sessions per week as well as a dive school where the kids only come once a week.

how do i set up civievent to handle this?

i tried to set up custom price sets but all those sets go into the one field in the database. not helpful when it comes to reports where im trying to convert the report into a class roll.

so how do i make it so that one person can register for a class that has multiple options to choose from plus depending on how many classes they choose to attend per week depends on how much they pay.

cheers for any help.

each price set is stored as a line item (civicrm_line_item), so u can get a report out of it as needed

check:

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/search/custom/list?reset=1

specficially the custom search "price set details for event participants

i exported my report into csv and the fee levels have been exported into the same field.:
ie, "Monday 4:30 to 5:15pm,Tuesday 4:30 to 5:15pm,Monday 5:15 to 6:00pm,Monday 6:00 to 6:45pm,Wednesday 6:00 to 6:45pm" is just one big field.\, ie in the one cell in the spreadsheet.

event titleevent datefee leveltotal price
dive school12/01/2010 Monday 4:30 to 5:15pm,Tuesday 4:30 to 5:15pm,Monday 5:15 to 6:00pm,Monday 6:00 to 6:45pm,Wednesday 6:00 to 6:45pm$750
make sense?

is there a way to have all the in separate cells like this?
event titleevent datefee level 1fee level 2fee level 3fee level 4fee level 5total price
dive school12/01/2010Monday 4:30 to 5:15pmTuesday 4:30 to 5:15pmMonday 5:15 to 6:00pmMonday 6:00 to 6:45pmWednesday 6:00 to 6:45pm$750
