Built-in Individual contact type disappeared

I tried to create a new contact type, but instead of creating a new, additional type, the built-in individual contact type was replaced by the new one!

What do I do now?  I need to create contact type based on the built-in individual contact type!

Thanks in advance for any help!

(Running CiviCRM 3.1.3 on Drupal 6.16)

your best bet would be to do a clean install of civicrm on a different database and then copy over the values from civicrm_contact_type table

alternatively if you are pretty savvy with mysql, you can check sql/civicrm_data.mysql and insert a clean version of civicrm_contact_type from that file
