hi,
I have a little struggle making a view with civicrm contacts and users from drupal:

I have one view (user type view) with First Name, Last Name from civi data, and user id, user picture from drupal profile. fine

But I cannot link with users nodes, i have tried another view (node type view) but then i don t get access to civicrm data.

I have made a panel siding both view, comparing user id but some users have a couple of nodes so really it does not work

any idea

If u add a field of  " CiviCRM Contacts: Drupal ID ", you get Drupal ID. Make it exclude form dispaly &  use the same as an replacement pattern  to link to user node. i.r ( <yoursite>/user/[drupal_id] ) by using "  Output this field as a link " feature.

If you want to do some custom phpcoding in views fields then http://drupal.org/project/views_customfield would be helpful.

hi,

sorry i did not mean users node, but nodes created by users.

In "user type view", appart from civicrm contacts, there is already drupal user id, even user picture, user name, and even uploaded files which are linked to a node. But there is no Node fields. Node fields are not exposed.

same happens with the "node type view", civicrm contacts are not exposed, but user fields are in both cases exposed.

regarding php coding, i would not know how to do it

So it will better for you to fetch the civicrm contact data in the view type which gives you rest needed data. i.e Profile picture , user name, and  uploaded files.

also http://rajanmayekar.co.cc/blogs/displaying-civicrm-profile-drupal-user-profile-through-panel this will be helpful I think.

but this does not work if i want to list in a view something like:

- node1 created by userA
- node2 created by userA
- node3 created by userB
- node4 created by userC
etc...
