civicspace and civcrm

I am using civicspace 0.8.5 and CiviCRM 1.3  I know these are very old but can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to upgrade the whole thing at once?  I thank you.

You will have to do this one step at a time and drupal and civicrm independent of each other

For CiviCRM you will need to upgrade the db schema from 1.3 -> 1.4 .... -> 1.9. There are a few manual things you might need to do as documented in the upgrade docs.

I suspect this is not a trivial exercise, so do make backups etc

Lobo, thank you.  I am wonndering, would it work to just upgrade the civcrm?  Honestly the only things that I would like to work that aren't are the ability to creat Online Contribution Pages at this time it just hangs and the other thing is that I would like my crm contacts to become civspace users.  I can makes users contacts but not contacts to users.

you will have to give it a shot and see if it works. We have not tested the latest versions of CiviCRM with drupal 4.x which your distribution is on

you will need to use a combination of export and a drupal module (user import) to make crm contacts become drupal users
