I'll start with the problem and then describe the setup.

Problem

The Drupal user account is created and the welcome email is sent out before the user completes the paid transaction with civicontribute

Setup

I have a civicontribute page which is set to create a drupal user account for one of a number of civimember membership types. I am using Paypal standard as the payment processor.

Additional info

The idea was that once the user account was created an the payment went throught civi role sync would synchronize the user account with an equivalent drupal role to the membership they applied for. Thus giving them access to specific things on the website.

since the account is created before the transaction has been completed there is substantial margin for error. If the user somehow doesn't complete the transaction or encounters a problem they will still have an account on the system and will receive the email allowing them to access the site without having paid for their account.

Hopefully there is something I'm missing and it's an easy fix, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
