Strange behavior: Profiles that show up for "Batch Update"

I'm getting a strange behavior when trying to get profiles to show up with the "Batch Update" option.

If a Profile contains only "Contact" fields, it will not appear as an option from the dropdown of available Profiles when making a "Batch Update" with a set of individuals only. However, as soon as I add any "Individual" field, it shows up for that same "Batch Update".

Is anyone else having this happen?

can you replicate this on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org and if you are able to replicate, do file an issue in issue tracker..
