Participant and Contribution Matching Issues - Event Financial Reporting
October 25, 2007, 03:27:15 pm
I'm having some issues attempting to put together any type of financial reports.  For example, if I were to want to query the database for all participants of an event, then match up the contribution/payment for each participant... no can do.  It appears the Contribute and Participant tables are used independently to store the respective data, but there is no real way to link the two back together down the road.

I see this as important for financial reporting.  It may be a good solution to add a participant_id field to the contribution table to resolve this issue.

Is anyone else attempting event financial reports?  If so, are you having any lucks and what is your solution?

Can you check civicrm_participant_payment table.  This table links participant and contribution record.
