access denied to my own dashboard

Hi everyone, I'm new to civicrm and I'm using it with drupal. However I get access denied to my own dashbord, i get a login prompt saying access denied but if i use the same account to login to the applet I can view the content i.e. my activities.

any ideas why

My first thought would be to check that the Drupal permissions are in order.

I have only one account, which it the admin account that I installed Drupal and civicrm.
