dashlet says I'm not authorised to view yet its mine

Hi everyone, I'm new to civicrm and I'm using it with drupal. However I get access denied to my own dashbord, i get a login prompt saying I'm not authorised but if i use the same account to login to the applet I can view the content i.e. my activities.

any ideas why

check the urls of your site

i suspect u have mixed example.com and www.example.com (i..e the urls are different in different settings)

Hi Lobo

I'm not sure if I understand, i have checked the page source code and everthing looks at the default path and no urls, the url of the page is www.example.co.uk and all pages default to www (and not http://example.co.uk).

Where would I check the dashlet url?

You can check URLs that dashlets and other Ajax widgets are calling using Firebug  (super valuable FireFox extension - download and install it if you don't already have it). The console tab will show you the URLs being called.

Check your CIVICRM_UF_BASEURL setting in civicrm.settings.php file and the Resource URL setting under CiviCRM > Administer > Global Settings to make sure it matches.
