Custom Contact Type not upgraded properly and website missing from Contact Edit
June 27, 2010, 03:13:02 pm
After upgrading a 3.1.3 site to 3.2 Beta 2, the Contact edit page has no Website field and when trying to create a new Contact using a Custom Contact Type based on Organisation that we created under 3.1, the only thing that displays is the Website title with the "add" link, but there is no text entry box and clicking on "add" doesn't display one.

A bug has been filed at http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-6416

Anyone else having this problem?

It appears that this issue may arise when you create a Custom Contact Type called "Website", even if you rename it later to something else, as per my comment on Jira: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-6416

Issue confirmed through testing on the Sandbox and ticket updated accordingly.  See above link to the ticket for more info.

The workaround at the moment is not to create a Custom Contact Type called "Website" or presumably any other Field Name from the standard Contact.
