screen width is very inconsistant

The width of information on various screens is very inconsistent. For example: On the "Memberships -> Dashboard" and "Events -> Dashboard" screens, the screen is using about 50% of available room within the thin gray box.    Yet the "Contributions -> dashboard" screen takes up 100% of available space.     Then the "home" dashboard takes up about 2/3rds of the available space.

I observed this under Joomla 1.5.18 with CiviCRM 3.2 beta 2.

Also notice that the gray "Create New" button on the left column seems oddly positioned.

the patches in the jira issue above address these layout issues. if you have time to implement on your installation and confirm the main layout problems are fixed, that would be great. otherwise they should be included in beta3
