Btw, this specific example relates to the text that says, "The information you provide will NOT be shared with any third party organisations."
This form will be used in the US where we do not use the British spelling.

I'm not sure where I'd find the default name and address profile? It's not obvious from the menu items in the administration area — and I looked pretty much everywhere.

I also looked at the source for the page, which had this comment:

<!-- .tpl file invoked: CRM/Contribute/Form/Contribution/Main.tpl. Call via form.tpl if we have a form in the page. -->

But the Main.tpl and form.tpl file did not have the text in it. I did a multi-file text search through the various CiviCRM files on my workstation drive for "organisations" which yielded nothing.

What I finally did was to access the database using phpMyAdmin and search for "organisations" which turned up one record in the civicrm_uf_group table that had the sentence containing "organisations" as mentioned above. Problem solved.

Administer > Customize > CiviCRM Profile

edit the appropriate profile settings

Aha! Thanks. Yes, that would be the Supporter Profile, in this case. Lot's to learn about CiviCRM!
