Okay sent the other person the same email and he still has trouble.

Given that the problematic header that breaks the CiviMail email (Status:  U) is not added at your end, but somewhere between you and that particular person, my take would be the problem lies with the (most probably – the one at their end) server that adds this header.

If that person can be asked to take a look at the raw view of emails they receive (so they can see the full ‘source’ of the email), a good check would be to see whether the PHPlist email has the Status:  U header as well. If it has this header (and looks ok), then it’s something else; if it doesn’t have this header, then this header somehow gets added only to CiviMail-originating emails (but still on their end).
