My membership list report is showing a person's organization as a member in addition to the actual individual member. Example: My exported CSV report in the first column has Jane Doe1, John Doe1, Organization Name1, Jane Doe2, Organization Name, etc.. Why are the organizations listed as if they are also members. I thought membership was tied to just the individual and not the organization. Am I doing something wrong?

I figured out what I did wrong. When I set up the input form, for the person's company I chose the type of Individual and Current Employer instead of Organization and Organization name. So when they put in their place of employment, that company is treated also as an individual. Was hoping I could change the type, but when I do I get this error (which makes sense)

Cannot add or update profile field type Organization with combination of Household or Individual

Any thoughts on how I could fix it for future members so the company is of type organization instead of type individual?
